| Image Quality and Screen Resolution |
We
target to exhibit screen reproductions that are as close as possible to the
original image. Please note that many factors influence your perception of what
the images look like, especially the quality of your monitor and most
importantly whether the monitor is correctly calibrated. Please use a
commercial calibration system and if possible, set the color profile for
"photos".
Our images are set to be "neutral" in brightness and color
balance on a properly calibrated monitor of "median"
quality.
Screen resolution will also affect color balance. This site is
designed for a minimum resolution of 800x600 and even though it will display
properly on smaller and larger settings, color can be affected. Your perception
of color will also be significantly influenced by the monitor's immediate
surroundings, ambient light levels and the monitor's reflective quality. |
